A Good Read - Book Review - KS2

Download this 16-slide PowerPoint and writing frame about Book Reviews. This is a great resource to use with your class to inspire them to read and recommend books to each other. The PowerPoint starts by explaining that we don’t enjoy every book that we read, that sometimes we may not even enjoy a book written by our favourite author and also our reading tastes develop as we decide which books we like and which we do not like. This PowerPoint also includes a book review of the popular book, 'You're a Bad Man, Mr Gum!' for you to use to model how to write a good review. The children will then be able to use the Writing Frame to create their own book reviews to share with their peers!
