Historical Skills - Rubric - KS2

This Rubric is for using with any history topic. It will give children a clear understanding of what standards are expected when they are considering historical interpretation, (i.e. How do they explain what happened, how and why it happened?) historical enquiry (i.e. How do they find out about the past? and How well do they understand and learn from the past?) and historical organisation and communication, (i.e. How do they sort and organise the historical information they find?)
Use the rubric, a great tool and learning resource, for scoring and giving levels of performance for specific criteria and use it with KS2 chidlren to set targets! After the Rubric is completed each child will know what they have achieved and will be able to set their own targets for their next historical topic!
