Persuasion Rubric

This is a Rubric for assessing persuasive writing. It will give children a clear understanding of what standards are expected when they are writing the opening statement, giving reasons & evidence to support their ideas (The Argument), considering persuasive language, closing statement and punctuation. Use the rubric, a great tool and learning resource, for scoring and giving levels of performance for specific criteria and use it with KS2 chidlren to set targets! After the Rubric is completed each child will know what they have achieved and will be able to set their own targets for their next persuasive text!
